Nate VandenbergBorn and raised in Weber County, Utah, Nate developed a passion for pop culture at a very young age. He never dabbled in a fandom, he dove in head-first—leaving behind him a trail of action figures, worn- out VHS tapes, comic books, and other collectibles.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy and Air Force, Nate was privileged to travel all over the world in service to his country meeting amazing people along the way. Although his list of celebrity encounters is quite high, his two favorite encounters were with Neil Armstrong, whom he met in the spring of 2010 in Landstuhl, Germany, and Stan Lee, whom he met at Salt Lake Comic Con in the fall of 2014. Having moved to Maricopa County, Arizona in December of 2018, Nate continues to serve current and former members of the U.S. armed forces as his full-time job. Nate is very excited to be a co-host of the Interstate Geeks Podcast and a member of the 143 Podcast Network Family. |
